How do I arrange for a FREE pickup?

Call us at (614) 272-9544, and ask to schedule a pickup.

Our pickup service is FREE if the item(s) to be donated are on the first floor of your building or outside in an accessible place (driveway, porch, garage, sidewalk, etc.).

If you require our drivers to go upstairs or downstairs to retrieve items, there is a charge of $5 for each "major item," with a minimum charge of $10. "Major items" are those that require 2 people to carry due to their size and/or weight.

What items does MAP Furniture Bank accept?

We accept "gently used" items that are free of any major rips, tears, stains or significant wear. The families we serve need:

Primary Needs (Free Pick up In Our Service Area)*

Secondary Needs

• Small Appliances (microwaves, coffee makers, toasters, etc.)
• Baby Items (high chairs, cribs)
• Blankets and Bed Linens
• Computers
• Sets of Pots and Pans
• Sets of Dishes and Flatware / Silverware
• TVs (13" and above)

* Items must be located on first floor to qualify for free pick up.

We do not accept:

• Clothing
• Automotive
• Books
• Food
• Platform Beds
• Exercise Equipment
• Nic-Nac's
• Toys
• Waterbeds
• Holiday Decorations
• Items in very poor condition or in need of repair

MAP reserves the right to accept or reject items. Our drivers and office staff will make these decisions.

When will MAP pick up the furniture that I'm donating ?

You are welcome to drop off furniture donations any time Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm.

MAP picks up around the Columbus, Ohio, area 5 days a week, based on your ZIP code.
